Time to give your eyes a rest from staring at screens all day, get up and make your way into town because you’ve got some serious exploring to do.

Becoming a Tourist in your own city is an inexpensive way you can explore the nooks and cranny’s of your town and it’s a way you can find some pretty awesome hidden gems.

So how exactly so you become a Tourist in your own City I hear you asking? Well it’s simple – put aside your stresses, take a camera and explore.

  • Eat at a cafe that you’ve never been to
  • Visit a vintage bookstore and look around
  • Visit your city’s famous tourist attractions and appreciate them
  • Attend the festivals that are on around the city
  • Shop at the markets – you never know what you’ll find
  • Don’t be ashamed of taking photos
  • Look out for free events
  • Grab a rug and your friends and have a picnic in a park
  • Go on a Thrift Store crawl!
  • Walk instead of taking a Taxi/Bus

Now you can put down your phone and shut down your computer. Get exploring and most importantly – have fun!

Spring time is the best time to go all out. Go all out with show stopping jewelry, bold lip colors and cute as f*** hairstyles. Who cares what anyone else says about your aesthetic – Spring time is the time to be as carefree and as ‘IDGAF’ as you want. An in-your-face floral crown? WHY NOT? A vibrant red lip during the day? YES PLEASE.

No need to hide away your red lippies for the Spring! Wear them red lips all year round if you want to because you SLAY in it. Finish the look with statement sunglasses; the perfect accessory that says I won’t bother you if you don’t bother me.

The classic florals in spring trend will never go out of style so it’s time to just embrace it. Channel your inner Lana Del Rey and go OTT with a floral crown and toughen your look up with a bad ass Septum. What says “I’m undecided about how I feel about Spring” more than this look?!

For those girlies who love a guaranteed head-turning Springtime look, go with some loose curls and a pair of statement sunnies. Go with a lip that lets your hair have all the glory. I mean, who can say no to being sun-safe and having hair so on point?

TAKE ME BACK: Coachella Fashion 2015

I think it’s fair to say that Coachella is THE place to be snapped for showing off your style and out shining everyone else.

As much as we loved the music and the performers, the rides and the dancing, the food and the celebrities – Coachella’s candid fashion show always turns heads.

It isn’t a music festival if we don’t see someone sporting a pair of space buns! Paired with a funky fanny pack, you’ve got yourself one on point ‘chella look.

DIY Marbled Gift Tags

What’s that? You can’t get enough of the Marble print trend? And you wish everything that you owned was covered in Marble? Well you’re in luck because we feel the same way.

Last week, we posted another tutorial on how to get dipped Gift Tags, but if you’re looking for something a bit more challenging and even more unique and out-there, then you’ve stumbled across the right DIY.

What you’ll need

– 2 or more Nail Varnishes of different colors
– Cup of water
– A toothpick
– Gift Tags
– String
– Markers
– Paper towels

The first thing you want to do is pour your nail colors into your cup of water. Mix this up with a toothpick making sure there are not lumps!

Dip your Gift Tag in the water as far as you want the marbled effect to go.

Remove from the water and when you’re happy with the print, let it rest on a Paper Towel.

Once your tags are completely dry you can take a Marker of any color and write on your special message.

Tie some string onto that bad boy and attach it to your gift. Then, you’re good to go!
