DIY Marbled Gift Tags

What’s that? You can’t get enough of the Marble print trend? And you wish everything that you owned was covered in Marble? Well you’re in luck because we feel the same way.

Last week, we posted another tutorial on how to get dipped Gift Tags, but if you’re looking for something a bit more challenging and even more unique and out-there, then you’ve stumbled across the right DIY.

What you’ll need

– 2 or more Nail Varnishes of different colors
– Cup of water
– A toothpick
– Gift Tags
– String
– Markers
– Paper towels

 

Method

The first thing you want to do is pour your nail colors into your cup of water. Mix this up with a toothpick making sure there are not lumps!

Dip your Gift Tag in the water as far as you want the marbled effect to go.

Remove from the water and when you’re happy with the print, let it rest on a Paper Towel.

Once your tags are completely dry you can take a Marker of any color and write on your special message.

Tie some string onto that bad boy and attach it to your gift. Then, you’re good to go!

DIY Jewelry Dish

This DIY is simple, it’ll cost you almost next to nothing, and you would’ve created something that will look so designer and so Instagram-worthy. Make multiple dishes at the one time; they’ll make incredible gifts.

Everyone’s guilty of buying cute jewelry, using it once, dumping it around your room and never finding it again. Get your creativity on with this do-it-yourself jewelry dish to solve this never ending missing jewelry problem!

WHAT YOU’LL NEED
– Gold Paint Pen
– Small ceramic dish
– Oven

STEP 1 Wipe down your small dish and leave it spotless
STEP 2 Grab your Paint Pen and draw your first small cross print in the center of the dish

STEP 3 Continue to draw crosses to create a line of the print, leaving a small gap between each cross
STEP 4 Using the line you’ve drawn on as a guide, keep drawing crosses next to each other. Tip: it doesn’t have to be super neat!

STEP 5 Let the Paint dry for an hour or two
STEP 6 Bake in your oven for 15-30 minutes on 350°F then let it cool completely
STEP 7 Wash the dish with some water and dry it off
STEP 8 Pop a couple of your fave rings in your dish and display that shiz for everyone to see!
