Got someone’s birthday coming up? Need to say a huge congratulations to someone close? Or you just want to tell that someone special that they’re awesome? Put some thought and a touch of uniqueness into any ordinary gift with these DIY Dipped Gift Tags made with extra love and care.
These are a super easy and fun DIY and they’ll come in handy whenever you’re running low on cards or if you want to spruce up a boring note.
WHAT YOU NEED
– A cup of water
– Plain Gift Tags
– Paper towel
– Watercolor paints
– Black marker
Squeeze some watercolor paint into your cup of water and stir until the color is very pigmented . Let your Gift Tag rest inside the cup for 5-6 minutes. After you’re happy with the color on the tag, let it dry on a paper towel.
Once the tags are completely dry, you can take your pen or marker and write whatever message you want! Then, tie some string to it and attach it to your gift to create a one-of-a-kind tag.

It’s fair to say that everyone’s guilty of having old, outdated, so-three-years-ago pants lying around the house. Some don’t have the heart to throw them out, some say that they’ll need them one day. Whatever your excuse, grab those pants right now and grab a pair of scissors, ‘coz you’re about to get down with some serious DIY business.
That’s seriously all you need. Just your pants, scissors, a piece of chalk and that hot bod of yours.
First thing you’ll need to do is shimmy into those pants and figure out how short you want to make your shorts.
With a piece of chalk or a pencil, mark about 2 inches longer than you want your shorts to be.
Now lay your pants down on a flat surface and cut the pants, using your mark as a guide.
Continue onto the next leg by folding the pants in half and using the already cut leg as your guide.
Fold the bottom twice, or you could leave it for a relaxed, frayed look.
All done! Pair your new shorts with a crop top and some flashy jewels from Gold Soul and you’re good to go!
